Prem Dayal

Prem Dayal, Italian by birth, he is a renowned meditation teacher who has carried out his research and work in Europe, Asia, and America, expressing his creativity both in the field of writing and theater.

He is the founder of the Osho Meditation Center Mexico, and the Prem Dayal School for Transformation. As well as in the creation of numerous therapeutic processes for the awakening of consciousness, he is the author of the best seller Me Vale Madres, Mexican mantras for the liberation of the spirit.

His eclectic biography is that of an “outsider” who has developed his expertise working alongside several world-renowned masters: he was first assistant to the Nobel Prize for Literature, Dario Fo; for many years choreographer of Armando Pugliese, disciple of Osho and therapist in his ashram in Pune, India for almost ten years, he learned the art of mime and figure theater with Hugo Suarez, acting with Dominic De Fazio of the Actor Studio and dramaturgy with Robert MacKee.

In the seventies and eighties he became interested in mental illness, being part of the Democratic Psychiatry movement, operating the first “home” in Italy (Bari, 1980). The following year he begins his successful theatrical journey: he starts as a mime in the streets of Barcelona; he quickly moves to traditional theater as an actor, and then as a choreographer, director and playwright, receiving several recognitions. Among his works: the adaptation of the Latin comedy The Thousand by Plautus (Asti Festival 1984), The controversial I have AIDS (Ció l’AIDS – 1987, winner of the Ciro Madonna award) from which the film Sono Positivo has been produced, I love you…. Muñequita (published in the magazine Sipario ’88), El Claus, based on a novel by Kristian Andersen (1983), Rock Pantomime, the dark side of the light (winner of the “Il Cavallo di Battaglia” award), Un Negro llamado Nicola (1990 – nominated for the Fondi La Pastora award).

Teaching acting and mime in different schools, his interest in psychology and the mystical aspect of life is reborn. For almost ten years he lives in India, in the International Osho Commune, where he learns meditation and works as a therapist, session giver and group leader. He returns to Italy to found the human development group “The New Alchemy”, experimenting ways to adapt the therapy to the learning of Meditation and “Sacred Sexuality”. At the end of 2001 he arrives in Mexico. He founded the Osho Meditation Center and the magazine Osho Times Español. Throughout these years he has created successful tools for the awakening of consciousness, to which thousands of people have participated, such as: The Breath of Freedom, The Dance of the Heart (The Alchemy of the Fourth Chakra), Orgasmic Breathing, Tribal Meditation, The Alchemy of Forgiveness, The Gift of Conscious Sexuality… and has also developed an original way of working on the theme of childhood through three workshops: The Healing of the Inner Child, Liberation of Paternal… and Maternal Conditioning.

Meditation is the basis of his work, and despite the use of therapeutic techniques in his workshops he does not like to define himself a “therapist” but a “Ghostbuster”, a ghost hunter, giving life to an original way of working: the “Ghostbuster Therapy” to which he has given the name of Reconnecting.

He currently lives in Mexico City giving lectures, Vipassana retreats, trainings, and offering an integral program of transformation of the self: the Program for a New Life. Due to the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic and the great success of his social networks, he has recently founded an online meditation school, the Prem Dayal School for Transformation, which offers a diploma in No-Mind Psychology.
